Mid Norfolk Railway – Phase 2 of works

In line with the Mid Norfolk Railway’s schedule and following completion of phase 1 in the summer, we recently completed phase 2 of works. Phase 1 involved the construction of concrete foundation slabs in the new maintenance shed, with Phase 2 focused on the construction of slabs on the outside plus pits inside.

Using composite fibres as an alternative to conventional steel mesh, we were able to speed up construction to ensure work was completed in time for the historic Flying Scotsman’s visit to Dereham Station.
