We are delighted to have completed the formwork, reinforcement and concrete work for the rebuilding of Wolferton Pumping Station, situated within the Sandringham Estate. We placed 800m³ to the pumping station structures, fixed 60 ton of steel and completed 900m³ of concrete with a brushed finish. It will allow the surrounding 7,000 acres of marshland, which sits below sea level, to be drained, dried out and farmed. It is a cleaner, more efficient and environmentally friendly station than that of the original.

The pump station was unveiled by Her Majesty The Queen in February 2020, 72 years after the original station was opened by her father King George VI.
